hey yo's!!! my name is jessica, i'm 18, and i am from little rock, arkansas (oh the joy). i take ballet with ballet arkansas and currently intend to persue a career as a dancer once i am finished with school. i love alternative music, going to concerts, hanging out with friends, and drinking much coffee. this little section is dedicated to the wonderful, fabulous, great, rad people that have influenced me and who i consider to be my best friends. i wish that everyone could have such wonderful people in their lives DAVE- possibly the world's greatest boyfriend and biggest hippy. thank you babe for being so great! CHRIS (a.k.a. god)- 18 yr old lunatic. he's my friend cause he is from cali. there are so many quotes from him that i just can't fit them in. he is just a 'great' person. FRED-a recent acquisition in the friend realm. he is just awesome and i wish that he didn't live so far away cause i never get to see him. owner of the dreaded blue wash cloth. BROOKE (a.k.a. luxy)- "and jesus shall spread the booty, yo!" my crazy enemy turned friend. one of the few girls that i get along with. sat through the 30 min sermon on the pedestal w/ me. i am forever in debt. ELLIE- there aren't really words to describe this chick. she is just crazy and "fabulous" EMILY P.- so far away, yet always there. she is my incredibly rad roomate from last year's little trip. i really miss her KELLY- what a lunatic. remembered forever for the squirrels and for her elephant immitation whitney- whit is an absolute weirdo. she is crazy and just a blast to hang out with. she owes me a huge debt cause i stayed up with her so that she could be online for 12 hours. and she has nice hair. ETHAN-i just want you to know that i'm thinking about you and hoping for the best. :-) there are many more people that are important to me that i just really don't have room to write about. it doesn't mean that i care less about them. i hope they understand. :-) | |||||||||||||||||||

okay, i know that this has been one of those incredibly cheesy pages w/ the shout-outs to the friends but i'm going to continue momentarily w/ while raving about music. i highly recommend all of the following bands, particularly the first few: tool, placebo, bush, tori amos, radiohead, staind, smashing pumpkins, nin, ashtray babyhead, live, sublime, the adventures of jet...many more. well, since i have used a lot of this space for pointless stuff, i would like to make a really serious statement. i hope that the world wakes up soon and realizes that there is a big problem w/ censorship. this is probably most prevalent in the music industry where you can't listen to your fav bands on the radio w/out a lot of their words being covered up to "protect the innocent ears." and i guess there is some validity in the statement that the bands don't have to use that language. but i find it horribly unjust that some of the most incredible artists have to have their work butchered for the sake of people who really don't even listen to them. take for instance tool. on my local radio station their music is heavily edited because the people around here would be offended. unfortunately, they are misssing out on some of the most beautiful music ever created because they are too caught up in their desire to control other peoples lives. and it isn't just in music. books and movies are also often censored. so, please try to make a difference. read a banned book, talk to your local radio station, don't buy at stores that censor. let's try to put an end to it, k? t | ||||||||||||||||||
